Im Prolog der Oper gibt Caria das Allegro moderato \u201cL'atra magion vedete?... de\u2019 Fieschi \u00e8 l'empio ostello\u201d mit einer fast reptilienhaften Gerissenheit wieder und f\u00fchrt seine aufr\u00fchrerischen Intrigen mit fester Intonation und gleichm\u00e4\u00dfiger Intensit\u00e4t durch.<br>Im Duett mit Fiesco im zweiten Akt singt er \u201cMe stesso ho maledetto!\u201d mit gro\u00dfem Elan.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong><em>Bei diesem Paulus gibt es weder Reue noch Gewissensbisse, als er zu seiner verdienten Hinrichtung gef\u00fchrt wird - au\u00dfer die eines Mannes, der nicht so viel B\u00f6ses getan hat, wie er es sich gew\u00fcnscht h\u00e4tte.<br>Der Name Caria muss unbedingt in Erinnerung bleiben\u201d.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Original:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cDargestellt von Bariton&nbsp;<strong>Marco Caria<\/strong>, Der b\u00f6se Paolo Albiani ist ein d\u00e4monischer Kerl, der umso gef\u00e4hrlicher ist, als er das B\u00f6se so attraktiv klingen l\u00e4sst. Im Prolog der Oper singt er das Allegro moderato \u2018L'atra magion vedete... de\u2019 Fieschi \u00e8 l'empio ostello\u2019 mit reptilienhafter Verschlagenheit, und er f\u00fchrt seine aufr\u00fchrerischen Gesch\u00e4fte mit solider Intonation und unerbittlicher Intensit\u00e4t durch. Im Duett mit Fiesco im zweiten Akt singt er energisch \u2018Me stesso ho maledetto!\u2019. Es gibt kein Bedauern oder Reue in diesem Paolo, als er zu seiner wohlverdienten Hinrichtung gef\u00fchrt wird, es sei denn, es handelt sich um einen Mann, der nicht so viel Unheil angerichtet hat, wie er h\u00e4tte anrichten k\u00f6nnen.
