Marco Caria, a baritone born in Oristano, is recognized as one of the most interesting voices on the international opera scene, with a career that has taken him to major theaters around the world, from the Wiener Staatsoper to the Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires.

His most recent debuts include Scarpia in Tosca (Montpellier 2022), Barnabas in La Gioconda (Cagliari 2025) and Jago in Otello (Sassari 2024), with an anticipated return as Scarpia at the Margarethen Festival in Austria in 2026.
